Jagoda Tłok is a Polish writer and director based in Glasgow.

In her work she focuses on stories of women, and especially their acts of rebellion and survival in various oppressive systems.

Her first short Care (2023), which is also her graduation film from Screen Academy Scotland, was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland Award 2024. It screened at multiple BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals, including Edinburgh International Film Festival, Bolton International Film Festival and Leeds International Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention in British Shorts Competition and Glasgow Short Film Festival where it won Scottish Audience Award. Care received three RTS awards: Best Drama at RTS Scotland Student awards, Best Student Film at RTS Scotland and Best Writing for Undergraduate film at RTS National Student Awards.​

Her second short, Code of Conduct (2024), was commissioned by GMAC's Little Pictures filmmaking scheme supported by Screen Scotland. The film is currently entering its festival distribution. 

Jagoda was selected for Glasgow Film Festival New Talent Mentorship Scheme 24/25, through which she is being mentored by Laura Carreira.
